Title: Advice to promote my e-book
Category: Marketing

Start: 2014-02-11
End: 2014-02-18

My name is Natalia Zurawska. I have been a professional makeup/hair/spfx artist for the last 10 years. Please feel free to see my work at www.colourchameleon.com

I have recently come out with a couple of e-books which are available on Smashwords, Amazon and Goodreads.

Here are the links - http://astore.amazon.com/wwwcolourcham-20

I have also started a crowdfunding campaign - http://funding.clickstartme.com/project/im-not-making-this-up/

It has been a very long road and I need some advice on how I can market the e-books.

I have been writing blogs, promoting on social media as well as contacting various magazines.

Please let me know if there is any help or advice you can give me to lead me in the right direction.

I would also be more than happy to provide you with complimentary copies of the e-book.

All the best,

Natalia Zurawska

Hi Natalia.

I recommend making a list of websites, blogs, magazines, podcasts in the health and beauty sectors. From there, simply approach the decision makers and show them how you can add value to their followers/ readers/listeners, etc. Be sure to include testimonials of people who've read the book, too!

What do you think?

Natalia, I have self-published a book myself, and the advice I can give you is that you continually need to promote yourself in addition to the social media efforts. I have not yet begun the social media campaign, but have been speaking to various audiences across Canada on my book. The tipping point is at least 12 months to 18 months away with continued effort. So you have to be prepared for the long haul. Feel free to reach out to me via e-mail and we can connect by phone to chat further on what I have done.
