Make a Donation
The Holidays are all about giving and spreading joy, so why not give to those less fortunate and help make a difference. Donate time or money to a charity, including these two personally chosen by Arlene Dickinson.
Breakfast Club of Canada
Here at the Club, helping vulnerable children is our purpose. Making sure they receive a nutritious breakfast at school and creating an atmosphere and projects that feed their self-esteem, that’s our approach. Joining forces with communities and regional agencies to find the most suitable formula, that’s our method. Helping youngsters develop their full potential and training a new, committed generation, that’s simply brilliant! Thanks to the Club, close to 130,000 students have access to a nutritious breakfast each morning in 1,266 schools across Canada.
Click here to make an online donation; all donations made between November 25th and December 16th will be matched by Canada Pacific Railway.
For more information and other ways to donate, visit the Breakfast Club of Canada website.
Wounded Warriors Canada
From its modest beginnings in 2006, Wounded Warriors Canada has made a significant impact in assisting and improving the quality of life of Canada’s ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members – be they regular force, reservists, or retired – and their families.
By establishing dynamic partnerships, operating exclusively as a result of the donations made by Canadians and Canadian businesses from coast-to-coast-to-coast, Wounded Warriors Canada has been an instrument of change.
Their diverse slate of program initiatives are targeted towards ensuring our returning Armed Forces members, suffering from a range of personal health and financial issues, are supported as they transition to civilian life. Currently, their primary focus is on mental health and, particularly, the staggering impact of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
