However, with new apps appearing every day, it can be difficult to decide what’s best for your business. So, we wanted to help you out, give you some variety, and identify some of the top business apps we love and hope you will, too!

Dropbox

Overview: Dropbox promises that it will provide, “one place for all your stuff, wherever you are." Not only does the tool host your documents and allow you to access them from any place, Dropbox is great for small teams who need to collaborate on a project or document and you choose who has access to each file in your account.TELUS Cloud Apps Post - Dropbox.png

Features: Upload files to the cloud and edit them from any device, including Mac and PCs, tablets and smartphones. Control who has access to the documents you’ve uploaded. You can even undelete files you’ve accidentally removed.

Accessibility: Dropbox integration is seamless, allowing you to sync all your files across your devices. After the initial setup process, you can view, download and upload your files securely from any web browser in addition to dragging, dropping and sharing items directly from your computer.

Pricing: The free version of Dropbox comes with 2 GB, and you can earn additional storage (up to 18 GB) through Dropbox’s referral program. For heavier usage, you can upgrade your account, starting with 100GB (at $9.99/month) up to 500 GB (at $49.99/month).

Ease of use: Dropbox’s user interface is beautifully designed and easy to navigate. The application guides users through the registration process, no matter the method you use to sign up (web or mobile).

Accessibility: As a pure web-based application (no need to download any software), FreshBooks promises to make sure “your business is everywhere, on all your devices.” You can log in to your account and access your secure information from any computer, or take advantage of their iPhone and iPad apps.

Pricing: Users can manage unlimited clients and staff with a 30-day free trial. After this period, you can upgrade to accounts from $19.95 to $39.95 a month, which range from 25 to unlimited clients and other additional features.

Ease of use: FreshBooks does a good job of guiding users through their first time with ease, despite the fact that there are a lot of features and not everyone takes advantage of all the tool offers. FreshBooks is also set apart from many cloud apps because of its impeccable customer service.

Evernote

Ease of use: Evernote allows users to use the app however they see fit for personal or business use, ranging from a project management tool to a document repository.
