A lucky YouInc.com member will have a chance to win a one-on-one with Arlene Dickinson over Skype.

The opportunity to enter this contest is now closed, but we are just getting started with our next steps towards one YouInc member winning a one-on-one contest.

In early January, 10 finalists will be announced and will be randomly drawn from all entries. All finalists will win a signed copy of ‘Persuasion’ OR ‘All In’ by Arlene Dickinson.

The 10 finalists will be requested to detail a business challenge they would like Arlene’s input on.

A panel of judges will select the most compelling business challenge as the winner.

The winner gets a one-on-one Skype meeting with Arlene Dickinson.

We can’t wait to get rolling on this unique opportunity for one lucky YouInc member in 2014.

Great contest! I shared it to Google Plus, Facebook and LinkedIn too...do I get more entries? :) Since I already have Persuasion (see how well I am using what I learned?) I would love to advance directly into the business challenge round. Good luck to everyone else! I have got my Skype account ready to go!

I sure hope I don't win. The prospect of having to work so hard to be one of the nine left with a signed book is daunting enough. Best of luck to everyone!

Our business is like a train that has gotten out in front of us. Still holding on as it speeds down the tracks, but Arlene's input to keeping it on the rails would be invaluable! We have our fingers crossed and wish the best of luck to all.

They say " in life, you can only dream and try OR try and dream" so I`m trying and dreaming OR I'm dreaming and trying...;)

We are a beauty care and Wellness products manufacturing Company that offers 100% natural Spa grade products for women that can be used from the comfort of their home for the purpose of altering the look of their skin, hair, nails, cognitive functions and mood.

Opportunity
Problem worth solving:
Women are constantly striving for balance! It is a challenge to look and feel great while balancing family, home, work and friends. The constant struggle for balance can often lead to exhaustion (and it shows!)

Our solution:
We offer the balance to a busy full time life style by providing our clients with 100% natural Spa grade products for Skin, Hair and Nails that can be used from the comfort of their home. We offer a variety of products; anti aging oil, revitalizing oil, serums, facial masks, body masks, toners, moisturizers, body oils, bath salts, bath oils, hand made natural soaps, shampoos, conditioners and the list goes on!

Target Market:
In this day and age, we notice a better consumer awareness and a higher spending power. Given the risks associated with toxin materials in personal care products, companies and end users are constantly exploring alternatives raw materials like natural and herbal products. Our 100% natural & organic products are for women who work full time and understand the importance of looking and feeling good. ARGANIA SECRETS line should certainly be the focus of our outreach and sales efforts – the brand ethos is upscale, modern and focused after a demographic in the 25 to 45 year old sector that has enormous buying power and is very interested in health and well being....

There is a very solid concept behind the brand that can be franchised in the future... My project screams for your expertise and input Arlene! Lets share the ARGANIA SECRETS together, lets share happiness all around!

Sincerely,
ARGANIASECRETS@GMAIL.COM

Drat. I don't do Twitter. But I DO do Facebook & Pinterest. They are my chosen modes of engagement with my customers and B2B clients. Marketing gurus agree....choose one or two and do it well. I love her book and have read it twice...it reads like a 'how to' and have used her methods overtly and tactfully and...unashamedly-opportunistically. Thanks for the great read! Another time, eh?! ;D!

I have experienced being in the presence of Arlene only once. It was during my pitch on the Dragon's Den back in the spring of 2012. I was only on stage long enough to tape an episode but the value of that meeting with Arlene was very defining for me. A real 'game changer' for my business concept and for my company. I am Jill. My business is The Apple Crumble Company. My story is rich.

When I started my path in Music I never consider it a Career well I do now!
I always felt and indeed said it out loud my real breakthrough would come as mature Artist. Well guess what I grown up enough, strong enough and most defiantly as ready as I will ever be!
Through all the twist, turns, up's and down, near hits and plenty of misses, managing to raise on my own a beautiful Healthy Son now out there navigating the gauntlet of the world. The most consistent elements in my life have been: The knowledge I have a charmed existence compared to so many and I never forget. That it is part of my life's mission to give a voice to those who have not yet found theirs. Faith in myself, and of course the Blessing of a Lovely Mother.

What a life changing moment it could be to give Ms. Arlene Dickinson my elevator pitch!!!

Incredible opportunity....and shared!

Having Arlene provide guidance and wisdom to help move my business forward much more strategically would be a dream come true. My bestselling book, The Smart Divorce, has enabled me to launch a career offering divorce coaching services, educational tools and informative resources around separation and all stages of a divorce such as divorce and money, divorce fees, divorce emotions, and everything in between, to help you make smarter choices for a happier, healthier future.

Would love to speak with Arlene to find ways to reach more people and help them move forward through their divorce with focus, hope and confidence. The ripple affect of divorce is monumental; it's my mission to make divorce easier for all, by guiding people through one the most difficult life experiences in a holistic way, to avoid the pain and scars that can emerge

I recently joined YouInc after reading the article in the Globe and Mail and I'm glad I did. After being in my own business for 27 years, it's great to be able to learn from others who 'run their own shops'. As an instructional designer, our company specializes in building learning solutions for production or service employees. While we've been moderately successful, we want to find a way to build our brand, so that our approach to job skills training an become a global standard for building employee competence. That's the question I'd want to talk to Arlene about.
