I have been a professional makeup/hair/spfx artist for the last 10 years. I recently came out with 2 e-books. One is a makeup e-book entitled "I'm Not Making This Up" which features all of the best makeup tips and tricks I have learned over the years to save time and money. The second one - "How To Work with a Makeup Artist - For Photographers" features some amazing tips on production as well as much more so that every shoot is fun and seamless. Both e-books are available on Smashwords, Amazon, Goodreads as well as my website in all digital formats. Here is a direct link - I would love to get some help and advice on how to market them as whatever I have been doing has not been working. "I'm Not Making This Up" is perfect for every woman, makeup lover, as well as makeup artist. "How To Work with a Makeup Artist - For Photographers" is much more specialized and it is geared towards newer photographers. If you would like to see my work, blog, and YouTube Channel, please go to I very much look forward to hearing back from you. All the best, Natalia Zurawska Makeup/Hair/SPFX E:

First of all, congratulations on publishing two books! A lot of people want to write a book, and never do. You have taken the first step! Getting your book out into the world takes a lot of hustle. One mistake I see a lot of authors make is not advertising the book. On Facebook you have a billion people at your fingertips, and the Facebook Ads platform allows you to reach those potential customers even if you have a modest budget.

I also recommend using your website to build a mailing list that you can promote future products to. You can build this list by advertising a free offer like "Get a free excerpt from the book that will help you look and feel your best!" You can get started on Mailchimp or Aweber and have the excerpt go out in an autoresponder whenever someone signs up. Now you can nurture those potential customers until they are ready to buy your book and hire your business.

Followup question:
Hi My Dear, I thank you so much for the advice. I have done this and so much more! Nothing seems to work. I tried Linked In, Twitter, many articles in magazines... I have a great write up - samples. Thanks so much! Any other ideas would be so greatly appreciated. Natalia Zurawska Makeup/Hair/SPFX
