Market research: Would you rather work on growing your business with a company called Down to Earth Marketing or Small Biz Sales Coach? With an MBA in marketing and 30+ years of experience in sales AND marketing, having started 11 businesses in the past 25 years as well as helping hundreds of other entrepreneurs grow their business, I do way more than just sales coaching. With the negativity associated with 'being salesy' and sales and even coach isn't without its drawbacks- I'm losing potential clients AND depriving them of my extensive experience too. Even back when I was in sales at IBM, we called Marketing Reps. Would love to hear your feedback on this. Thanks!

I have been asked to be a guest speaker for a podcast. I am not sure at this point whether the podcast is a "not-for-profit" or whether it is profitable. Is it appropriate for me to inquire whether I would receive compensation for this opportunity? Or is it common practise that my compensation would be "fame" *smile*. Thank you!

Hello, How do new business owners find mentors that can help them overcome challenges and grow? Are there resources out there that match newcomers with industry experts? Of course I dream big and want to have Arlene herself or Jim Treliving as a mentor but I understand that this is not possible.
