Crowd Funding

Crowd Funding

My wife (partner) Eve and myself wanted to semi retire in warm and relaxing Mexico, we needed something to do so we started a whiskey distillery. We ended up making a real good whiskey and spent the next year giving anyone that would hold still a taste. The feed back and interest from that exercise convinced us to expand. We have evolved into a great 7 member team and have focused on fundraising. We are all experienced with the traditional fund raising model and have everything in place but then decided to see what we can accomplish with Indiegogo. It was not an easy decision as David is deeply involved in traditional fund raising with contacts throughout  Mexico and US. As we gained knowledge and progressed with the preparations we became believers. There is a method to Crowd Funding and while we don't profess that we are in any way experts we are willing to share our experiences and answer any questions that we can. If any one else has some experience or information to share please do.

Crowd funding is in its infancy but will change everything, it has the power to bring everyday savings accounts into the businesses world and open up more start ups, create jobs. A win win for governments as long as the safeguards are in place.
